The Sun
A medium-sized star at the center of the solar system, providing light and heat essential for life on Earth.
Mercury
The closest and smallest planet in the solar system, with no atmosphere.
Venus
Similar in size to Earth, known for its extremely thick atmosphere and being the hottest planet.
Earth
The only planet known to support life, characterized by a water-rich environment.
Mars
Known as the Red Planet, it has the largest volcano and canyon in the solar system.
Jupiter
The largest planet in the solar system, known for the Great Red Spot and having over 70 moons.
Saturn
Famous for its prominent ring system and many moons, including Titan.
Uranus
An ice giant with a tilted axis, causing extreme seasonal changes.
Neptune
The farthest planet from the Sun, known for its deep blue color and strong winds.
Dwarf Planets
Includes celestial bodies like Pluto, Eris, Haumea, Makemake, and Ceres.
Asteroids
Celestial objects mostly found in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.
Comets
Composed of ice and dust, known for their glowing comas and tails when near the Sun.
